God sent His Son on Christmas day to save this world. Christ’s birth was announced to shepherds first, then to wise men, and finally to the world. His message of peace, love, and redemption is still being told and souls are still being saved. One day Jesus will return in a cloud to gather His people. The trumpet will sound, the sky will open and the Savior will return. Do you hear what I hear? He’s coming again.
Wow, a new version of a classic. I’ve been seeing segments of Christmas shows this week with the big name singers singing Christmas songs. Many of them do a great job with the songs but others are so intent on putting their own personal stamp on the song that the music gets lost somewhere. Something to be said for good singers just singing the song like these guys are doing.
Take care!!

Some groups treat every note as a musical event while others see the value in the composition as a whole. I don’t mind new arrangements, but I do like to be able to connect with the original melody.

Have a blessed day and weekend, my friend. 🙂

Some beautiful harmonies here. Definitely one of the best renditions of this song I’ve heard.
