Monday’s Music Moves Me
It’s August already and school will be starting in a few weeks. Here in Northwest Arkansas it is generally hot, somewhat humid, and those “Dog Days of Summer” are upon us. So the theme this week at 4M is those dog days and how to celebrate them with music.

I’m pretty sure this spaniel won best in sporting group one year. Hot is hot, on the water or off. Cool is better.

Nat King Cole’s ‘Those Lazy Hazy Crazy Days of Summer’ is such a careful, happy song. I love Satchmo and Ella together! They are a purrfect mewsical pair! Hello my friend, Love your tunes. The cocker spaniel is adorable, but I have to mention the lack of a coller & that leash around his/her neck really would scare me. If that dog took off it would choke her to death don’t ya think? Oh well, I’m sure it was only for a second for the picture. Love cocker spaniels. They’re beautiful dogs.

That leash & collar are for the show ring only. The handler is expected to keep pace with the animal.

I love summertime, especially right before it ends. Great collection of songs you go there and a different take on Summertime Blues, one of my favorites.

I knew the first two songs (both great selections). I had never heard Brian Setzer’s cover of Summertime Blues. I liked it! Great set for the Dog Days.
