  1. Isn’t that beautiful – what a stunning color! We are anxiously awaiting any kind of color around here, I think it would go a long ways towards cheering us up in these tough times!

The only thing prettier than redbuds is redbuds in a spring snow which I have only seen once or twice but it stunning. Almost as stunning as your photos. Great job Driller. Take care and stay safe!!

    1. I don’t think I have ever seen redbuds in the snow but it a beautiful scene in my head now. Thank you for the kind words. God does all of the work, I just try to capture a little of it to share with others. Have a blessed day.

  3. I was introduced to redbud trees during my husand’s military service (stationed in Wichita, Kansas). Our next door neighbor had one. When we moved to Arkansas after he left the Air Force, redubds became one of my favorite trees. I remember a stand of them on Hwy 62 along the border of Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park. I remember them blooming for over two weeks. We have them here in upstate New York, cut they aren’t as common. Lovely, lovely pictures.

  4. As you are aware, Redbuds are common here in Arkansas. I know of three varieties, Eastern, Oklahoma, and Forest Pansy. Being a native Oklahoman, naturally I selected my home state variety for our yard. The big one in the first image is a wild one growing near a local retail center. Glad you enjoyed the images.
