Aww…some Monday’s Music Moves Me

Aww…some Monday

Friday night was the last regular season game for the two local high schools. It is a rivalry game and this year they were playing for the number two seed in the play-offs, which means that the winner will get a week off before playing again and the loser will probably have to play a road game. The team in white is the older high school while the team in blue is now about seven years old. The Wolverines have never beaten the Tigers and this year was no different. The old guard put the youngsters in their place by a score of 56-21.

Monday’s Music Moves Me

Welcome, welcome, welcome to 4M. I am your guest conductor this month, which means I get to pick the themes for the music. Later this month I will have roamed this earth for three quarters of a century. I know, it’s hard to believe that a fossil still likes music and wanders the sidelines photographing football. In honor of my upcoming birthday I would like to feature artists born in November. Let’s see who we can find. As it turns out, some of my favorite artists were born in November. In fact Duane Allman and I share the same day and year, while Joe Walsh, Dierks Bentley, and Miranda Lambert share the month of November with me. Let’s get this party started.

You are the greatest photographer I’ve seen in a very long time my friend. I’m surprised some team hasn’t swooped you up already! Such super tunes you’ve picked out his week also. Miranda Lambert’s song is awesome in my book too my friend. Oh, and I sure hope you had the happiest birthday ever! I bet all those beautiful grandbabies were all over you, right? hehehehe Yep, I know what that’s like too. As far as the Eagles they’re really great. When hubby had his band they sure played a lot of Eagles that’s for sure, but I have to say I’ve never heard this Eagle tune you’ve posted. It’s just not the Eagles style either. Cute though. They’re really good. Have a great day my friend. Great job… no, no, no SUPER JOB! 🙂 Be safe and stay well!!!

    1. I posted the Eagles song because both Joe Walsh and Glen Frey were born in November. The Long Road Out of Eden was a different album for the group, but I liked it. I could have posted an hour long playlist of November entertainers that I like but I stopped at five. Have a blessed week.

  2. You have such varied photographic talents. You constantly amaze me with your photography. The songs: All new to me except the song “The Sky is Crying” (although not this particular cover). I thought the Delbert McClinton song was good but then I listened to that Sky is Crying cover and WOW. What guitar playing and singing. The Eagles song – yes, that was way different than the songs I know and love.

    1. Thank you for the kind words. I have been a long time fan of Delbert McClinton, but I only heard the Tedeschi-Trucks band a couple of years ago on CBS Sunday Morning. They are a special group.
