I must confess, not every decoration is mine. I keep my phone handy while shopping and capture some of the images from store displays. While the ornament may trigger a memory, it may not be added to our collection.
I found this ornament at a local department store. My dad worked for the railroad for 42 years, so there is a memory attached. I have another train ornament at home, so this one is still on the tree in the department store. I just found it colorful and appropriate for my CMM.
I find that hunting for interesting ornaments is a great pastime during the Christmas season. I don’t have to bring them home to enjoy them, I just photograph them with my cell phone and share them on social media.
