When I started the Christmas Music Marathon I never dreamed I would still be doing it fifteen years later. The original concept was to focus on the true meaning of Christmas and give people a place to come and listen to some seasonal music that might be new to them. Fifteen years later this marathon is as much for me as it is for those who stop by. I enjoy the hunt for the music that appears in these posts and I enjoy capturing the images that accompany many of the entries. The only tradition that I have maintained throughout this journey is to begin the marathon with a Trisha Yearwood song that asks us to imagine what it would be like to walk the streets of Bethlehem on the first Christmas Eve, not knowing what was about to transpire. Let the marathon begin.
From our family to yours, Merry Christmas and the Happiest of New Years.

It’s crazy how you start something just for fun and so many years later it is still going on and such a part of your life. Merry Christmas season to you and your family.
