There was time when baking Christmas goodies was a very important part of our holiday celebration. Everyone has grown up and is now watching their calories. Even the neighbors are hesitant about adding to their food intake.

These bakers used to turn out a mountain of tasty treats.

Okay, so I was born and raised in Oklahoma and now live in Arkansas. It’s my marathon, so indulge me this one post from two other Oklahoma natives.

Lucy and I are just waiting to taste test whatever comes out of the kitchen.
Loved the videos and I’m waiting with you to see what goodies are coming out of the kitchen. I love Christmas candy and cookies.
Have a blessed day and week, my friend. Scritches to Miss Lucy. ♥

The goodies turned out great. There may be a post Christmas post that will feature the cooks.

While there may not be as many goodies as in years past, I’m sure you and Lucy are up to the task of taste-testing whatever delights are produced.
I enjoyed the music, thank you for a couple of new-to-me selections again.

While they may not show up in this year’s marathon, the cookie decorations were awesome and the taste was extra special. Lucy was extremely disappointed in the lack of product hitting the floor. When the grands were little, there were as many sprinkles on the floor as on the cookies. Now they are very efficient cookie artists.
