Luke 24:1-6 But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen.
Luke 24:50-53 And he led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them. While he blessed them, he parted from them and was carried up into heaven. And they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in the temple blessing God.

The weather was very stormy and limited activities to indoors. Uncloudy Day is a favorite of mine and I enjoyed Travis’ arrangement.

Fabulous, fabulous Easter inspired song picks! He Arose is just a wonderful, powerful hymn that moves me. I’m so grateful for God’s great love and Jesus’ sacrifice. Thank you for this testament that Jesus lives through music. I hope you and your family had a beautiful Easter celebration, my friend!

I like praise and worship music, but at Christmas and Easter I want to hear the hymns of the faith. Give me, Power in the Blood, Vicory in Jesus, There is a Fountain, and Ain’t No Grave. I want to celebrate what Christ has done and why I have a reason to rejoice.

Yes, Easter is always a blessed time at our house. Not all of the family was able to be in town but it was a good day with those who were able to join us.
