Thank you for serving your country.! Just moved out of the forest (where we lived for 6 years) where we were surrounded by vets! Have heard their stories and the aftermath PTSD of it.
My father served in the Army Air Force in WWII; my husband served in the Air Force from 1976-1980 (so I was a military wife for four years.) I thank you for your sacrifice in serving during Vietnam. I found the picture of your great grandfather who served with the 15th Kentucky Cavalry of interest. I looked it up and found this “The regiment lost a total of 58 men during service; 1 officer and 2 enlisted men killed or mortally wounded, 1 officer and 54 enlisted men died of disease.” What a terrible time the Civil War was in our history.
You have a wonderful family of men that served this county. Thank you for your service.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
