2007 was a special Christmas for the Big Guy. He got a Jedi light sabre. Fully extended, it was as tall as it’s owner. Today he is 17 and 6′-2″ tall. I don’t think anyone knows what became of the light sabre. One of the joys of doing this marathon is looking back on previous Christmas celebrations and seeing just how much the grand kids have grown.
The grandson is the youngest of our four grandchildren and the only boy. That’s right, he has three older sisters that you will meet in the coming days. After three grand daughters the life in the family was changed by a baby boy. But then, a new baby in any family changes everything. 2000 years ago the birth of a baby boy in Bethlehem changed the world and continues to change lives one heart at a time.
He’s a handsome young man. I know how much you love your family. It makes me smile.
Oh the videos. Such a wonderful time of year.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. See you tomorrow. 🙂

The family dynamics certainly changed when the baby boy joined the group.

Such a lively young man!!
A Baby Changes Everything is a great song. It’s new to me, I like Sandy Parker’s contemplative take on it.
Changed by a Baby Boy is new to me also. I love the call and response thing the performer has going on.
I love the almost rocking feeling of the Virgin Mary had a Baby Boy.
Take care Driller, keep them songs coming.!!

I have used the Faith Hill arrangement of A Baby Changes Everything, but I felt the need to change things somewhat this year. Virgin Mary had a Baby Boy was new to me and I liked it a lot. The music is flowing freely this year…I’m just a little slow in getting it posted.

Those boys. So different from the girls, although all of them turn your world right side up in ways you didn’t know were needed.

Having the grand children close by all of these years has been a very special blessing.
