It is Northwest Arkansas, but someone felt the need for three letters. NWA is the code for the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport, which is only about five miles from where I am sitting.
We love these, how cute! They look like those fur ball things on cellphone commercials. NWA reminded of Mom’s former airline when she was a flight attendant, Northwest Airlines was always shortened to NWA. It was a long time ago!

NorthWest Arkansas makes sense, I thought it was Nwa, as in nwa-ha-ha like a scary monster laugh!

Northwest used to fly out of Fayetteville, AR to Memphis as the hub.
