Aww…some Monday -Friday Night Lights
Recently I went to a local high school football game. It was a rivalry game as these two teams have been playing each other forever and the two towns are next door neighbors. It was a wild game with a wild finish as the visitors in the white uniforms finally prevailed 56-49. Plenty of photo opportunities on this night.

Monday’s Music Moves Me
Well it’s the first Monday in November, I’m the guest host and it’s a free choice week. As you read this, we will just be getting home from vacation to Kentucky. I am sure there will be a post or two or three dedicated to our road trip, so stay tuned for further developments. In the mean time, enjoy a random selection of some of my favorite artists. Have a blessed week.
Hoping you enjoyed yourself on your trip to Kentucky and I look forward to any pictures you can share. The Eagles song was new to me and I read the story of why it took them so long to make a studio recording. But the song I enjoyed the most was Linda Ronstadt’s cover of “Tumbling Dice”. She had such a great voice and it’s painful to think of that voice in the past tense. Alana ramblinwitham

You do an excellent job capturing action photographs. I introduced me to an Eagle song I don’t remember hearing before now. YT shows 2007 as the copyright year, I guess that may be one reason I didn’t know it. Actually, I didn’t realize the group was still together. For some reason I thought they broke up. Looks like I was wrong! I don’t listen to Trisha Yearwood usually but she has a lovely voice. I always like hearing whatever is introduced to me, though. Your song selections are wonderful. “Old Time Religion” in particular is a nice jewel for this week. I haven’t heard the song in a long time much less a verse like this. Thanks for being this month’s honorary co-host, my friend. Have a boogietastic week!
