    1. Yes we do. Those who served most recently in Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan have left just as much on the battlefield as those who served in the Revolution, Civil War, WWI & II, Korea, and Vietnam.

I salute you and other vets. I have interest in the Civil War and looked up the 15th Kentucky Cavalry Regiment. It’s sobering to realize (per Wikipedia) their casualties were 3 killed or mortally wounded but 55 died from disease. My family (both sides) did not come to the United States until the early 20th century.

    1. Fortunately, my great-grandfather survived the Civil War and came home to live out his life in Kentucky.
Fortunately my father survived World War II and came home to live out his life in Missouri and Oklahoma.
Fortunately, I survived a tour in Vietnam and came home and am currently living out my life in Arkansas.

  2. One of the very great things of America are the armed forces. At our previous house in the forest (California) we were surrounded by vets – so I heard many stories and saw how they were physically effected by it – so many have PTSD. Thank you for your service! Emille

    1. We ask our service personnel to see and do things that a human being should not have to see or do, then we expect them to come home and adjust to civilian life without any issues. We need to give them all of the support they require.

Thank you so much for your service. We are grateful for you, and all of our veterans who served and fought, so that we can all be free.
