2021 Christmas Music Marathon – Day 11

Monday’s Music Moves Me

If you have visited this blog in the past ten days then you are aware that I am in the middle of my annual Christmas Music Marathon. Curious as a Cathy has been kind enough to put a link on her blog and I cannot thank her enough for that kind gesture.

Over the years I typically share some of the ornaments that adorn the trees in our house. Yes, I said trees. This year there are three Christmas trees in our home. Nearly every ornament you have seen so far is on one of the trees. Today I’d like to feature some very special ornaments. These decorations are very simple, but very durable. In fact these ornaments have adorned the main tree in our home for forty-seven years. They were on the first tree my wife and I bought after we were married in 1974.

  1. Excellent collection of contemporary Christian artists singing Christmas praises this week. I stumbled on “How Many Kings” two years ago. That’s such a beautiful song. Toby Mac’s song set my toes to taping and had me doing a bit chair boogie. I’ve always enjoyed Toby’s music. Thanks for sharing and joining the 4M crew on the dance floor this week. Have a joyous holiday season, my friend!

    1. I just stumbled on How Many Kings this year. Like you I found the Toby Mac song setting my feet to moving. It is getting a lot of air play on Christian radio during the holiday season.

  2. I love all your ornaments. It’s good that you still decorate too. I know your wife is most crafty.

Always love your music selections, but especially this time of year.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. 🙂

    1. We have indeed been blessed far beyond anything we deserve, but Thanksgiving and Christmas provide opportunities to really express our thanks to the King of kings for all that He has done. Praying for your health issues.
