Aww Mondays

It’s February and love is in the air. Also, the night time temperatures are in the teens and we have 8″ of snow on the ground, so what better time to think of spring flowers!
Monday’s Music Moves Me
Moving right along with the love theme and flowers, this week’s theme at 4M is love songs. We are one week out from Cupid and Valentine’s day, so guys you have had fair warning. Go get your valentine something nice. Make her feel special. And now, our musical selections.
First song is from the Marshall Tucker Band. While my wife and I have been together that my boots need to be resoled, I have no intention of going anywhere but right here in this relationship. Still I like the song.
The reason I have no intention of going anywhere is because I’m going to love her forever and ever amen. It’s been almost 48 since we said, “I do” and we’re just getting started.
What was the most popular or meaningful song played in your wedding ceremony? In 1974 this song was probably a part of most wedding ceremonies. It is still a favorite of mine.
Have a blessed week, filled with thoughts of love and kindness towards everyone you know, especially your significant other.
The flowers are most beautiful. Yes it’s love month and we’re both ready for spring.
Love your take on love songs. Well done.
Have a fabulous MMMM.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week, my friend. 🙂

I was trying out a new-to-me camera this week. I’ll be shooting more with it this spring. It is not a camera that is suitable for sports, but it’s going to be a great little travel camera.

Beautiful roses. We are below zero once again, but it will be a warm week ahead. Warm temps in mid winter are not good as they only melt things, create ice, and make a mess. More cold will be coming, that much we know. Enjoy the roses.

This week will find us enjoying sixty degree temperatures and a complete snow melt. Come on spring!

You and your sweet wife have a love that endured the test of time with you both coming out smelling like roses! I love so much how strongly your feelings run for this woman you said I do, too. 🙂 “Forever and Ever Amen” might be new-to-me. I enjoyed listening to it a lot and love the lyrics! The song that played at your alls wedding was a popular one in the 70s. It’s really a beautiful song, too. Thanks for sharing these wonderful selections and sharing your love for your wife. Have a blessed and boogietastic week, my friend!

There is a lot more truth to “Forever and Ever Amen” than most realize. Time flies when you’re having fun.

The effort made to the marriage over a 48 year span has been worth everything we have done. Love has always been the primary motivation.
