Aww…some Mondays

A Little Post Processing Fun
Monday’s Music Moves Me
This week at 4M is a freedom of choice week. We get to post any music we want, with or without a theme involved. I have always been a fan of the female vocalists of the 60’s & 70’s. Carol King, Linda Ronstadt, Carly Simon, Cher, Emmy Lou Harris, Cheryl Crow, and Rita Coolidge were just the best group ever. One of the most under appreciated artists from that era had her own band, which was an incredible feat for a woman in a male dominated business like rock music. I have been collecting a few of her vinyls lately and I am in love all over again with her voice and talent. Pull up a chair, turn up the volume, and give a listen to Bonnie Rait.
Your photos always leave me in awe.
Delightful choices of music this week, thank you.

Bonnie Raitt was one of those who really made her vocals look so easy.

There were some great female vocalists back in the day and I didn’t mention Janis Joplin.

I like Bonnie Rait, too, but when it comes to female vocalists, no one is as talented as Taylor Swift!

Honestly, Taylor is a phenomenal entertainer, but for me her vocals pale in comparison to Linda Ronstadt or Trisha Yearwood.

Bonnie Raitt is an amazing female vocalists. You just don’t hear women today who are this uniquely talented. Great selection to spotlight on 4M. Thanks for sharing and your photo is gorgeous! Have a boogietastic week, my friend!

Laney Wilson is beginning to make some awfully good sounds and she has the personality to do the old school tunes.

I don’t believe I’ve heard of Laney before. I’ll stop by YT to check out her music. It’s gonna be a hard to match the quality of old school artist such a Bonnie, though. My mind is open to the introduction to new artist. I’m headin’ to YT now. Thanks, my friend!

Your photos are amazing! You could be a professional my friend! Anyway, I’m with you on the Bonnie Raitt tunes I totally love her!!! When I was singing in Dave’s (my hubby’s) band I did one of her songs too. It was “Lets give em’ something to talk about”! She can sure put feeling to a song for sure, but that song… that sure is a party song for sure!!! hahaha Have a great week my friend!

Bonnie Raitt is excellent and her dad was a Broadway star so the singing gift was left to her. She suffered some major losses too which is very sad and, I think, one can hear that in her voice. So talented
