One Christmas tradition that seems to have faded is that of carroling. Each year our local high school music program has a concert that involves every choir. I it quite a treat to hear these young, talented voices sing the music of the season. They sing a few traditional carrols, a few classical arrangements, and a few pop offerings. All in all it is a great evening. If your local high school has such an event, I encourage you to attend. You won’t be disappointed and the kids will love a full house.
Love the video. Beautiful. I love this time of year.
I hadn’t thought of high school events this time of year. What a great idea.
We put the tree up yesterday. Today I start decorating it. Always a fun thing to do.
Have a blessed weekend, my friend. 🙂

We have Pilgrimage, and the Episcopal Church does the 9 Lessons and 9 Carols tradition, both are delightful. The traditional songs are a joy to sing.

I loved caroling as a kid! I would love to see this tradition reboot and what I’m talking about is hearing carolers in your neighborhood again going door to door. 🙂
