Ready for the Eclipse!
Monday’s Music Moves Me
Once again, I am going to select a different subject for 4M. Today is a total eclipse of the sun and we are just outside the primary path here in NW Arkansas so I am going to go with some Solar/Lunar tunes. Here we go.
Miss Lucy is ready. Adorable shot.
Love your playlist. Great picks.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week, my friend. ☺

I can’t say that Lucy was excited about the eclipse or the glasses. She was just happy when I removed them.

I’m glad to see Lucy is taking proper measures to view the eclipse. :D We’re in the 88% eclipse path but the clouds will probably prevent us from seeing much of anything. Great song picks! Thanks for joining the 4M party, my friend!

Apparently Arkansas was the place to be. We had a 97.5% eclipse and not a cloud in the sky. Clarksville & Russellville had a total eclipse and a lot of people captured excellent photos of the even.

WOW! Did you take pictures? We didn’t see anything. It was too cloudy. Our daughter in Maine witnessed the event and sent us a couple of photos she took with her iPhone. She did an excellent job. She has her daddy’s eye for capturing good shots. 🙂

I did not attempt any photos. I didn’t want to invest in a filter that I will not use again until I am 101. Just sayin’. I could have put a lens from a pair of eclipse glasses over my IPhone and attempted a photo but I didn’t really think of it at the time. Oh well, that’s life.

Your doggie is cute! It’s beginning to get dark here in Niagara Falls. I don’t have any glasses either so I will just see it getting dark while I work. I love your choices for the Eclipsr with the first one coming into my head right away

We had a perfect day in NW Arkansas and experienced a 97% eclipse. Those living about 2 hours south east of us were in the total eclipse path.

When the glasses went on, Lucy didn’t move a muscle.

I spent the last two days about 160 miles from home at an eclipse event and I can’t tell you how many times I heard Total Eclipse of the Heart. It’s all good, though – it’s a good song. I enjoyed your selection of songs. We even saw a couple right before they got married during totality (sadly, thick clouds totally hid the sun but that’s the chance you take.) Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me is one of many favorite Elton John songs. Alana ramblinwitham

Total Eclipse of the Heart was too obvious but just couldn’t be left out. I was pleased to be able to include Sir Elton.
