To be perfectly honest, I miss everything about being on the sidelines at the grandkids sporting events, but I really miss looking through the lens and capturing the moment.
Time passes and things change. Change isn’t always a bad thing (that’s what I say to myself). Hoping that other photo ops are replacing the ones you miss, and are giving you enjoyment. Alana ramblinwitham
A few new photo ops will become available I am sure, but I doubt if I will have the same enthusiasm and vested interest in the days ahead that I have had in the past. We’ll see.
The very reason I captured these images so so I could look back on those days with fondness. There is a little more emotion attached than I was expecting.
It’s a beautiful photo, and I do hope you get to take more of such photos. I’d think parents of kids in your area would love to pay for you to photograph their children in action.
Getting approval to get close to the playing field is becoming an issue. Track & Field is still pretty easy, soccer is not bad, baseball and softball are impossible due to field configuration.
