Aww…some Monday
Another one leaves the nest. This image was taken around 2011 or 12. The oldest grand daughter, on the left is now in her sixth year as a kindergarten teacher and lives in Little Rock. The middle grand daughter, center, is leaving the nest tomorrow. After recieving her masters degree in sports training and therapy this past spring, then spending this past summer as an intern trainer in minor league baseball, she is headed to Arizona to join the staff of the major league Athletics! We’re going to miss her, but we have plans to possibly visit her sometime this spring and take in a few games. Time is moving very fast these days.
Monday’s Music Moves Me
This week at 4M is free choice week, so I am going to go to Nashville to introduce you to a duo that my wife and I heard at the Ryman auditorium back in November. Larkin & Poe are sisters and their music is special. Enjoy.
Driller's Place 
It is exciting when the kids grow up and find their own path which can include moving away but it is good for them to experience life while they are free as a bird. She will do so well and have so many good adventures.

Growing up, she was the most cautious and least adventurous of the grands. Now she seems to be leading the pack in new experiences.

The cool thing about when kids grow up and move on is you have new vacation destination. lol I wish for her all the best in her new journey. I know y’all are proud of her and with good reason. They certainly don’t stay little forever, do they? Thanks for sharing the talented Larkin & Poe duet. They are wonderful!

Congratulations on your middle granddaughter leaving the nest and getting a job in the major leagues. How exciting! Larkin and Poe are new to me. I liked their music, especially Bolt Cutters, Mississippi, and Mockingbird. They are both incredibly talented and I read that they chose the name of their duo as they are distantly related to Edgar Allen Poe. Alana ramblinwitham
