Aww…some Monday (Flea Market Dog Show)
Every now and then I grab my small camera and head to one of several local flea markets/antique malls and photograph some of the objects for sale. I may develop a theme or I may just shoot random objects that capture my interest and imagination. The whole point is to keep the creative juices flowing and sharpen the photography skill with my small camera. It is a small camera when compared to my DSLR camera that I use for sports and major events, but it is a little powerhouse when you consider that I can adapt very nice DSLR lenses to fit on this little Canon M50 mirrorless camera. This week I decided to create a flea market dog show.
It would probably not be a surprise to you is I said the pair of Cocker Spaniels at play is my favorite. Have a blessed week.

This week at 4M the theme is whatever music moves you. In light of recent events in the news, I believe we could all use a little inspiration. There is a better day coming.

The idea just came to me as I was wandering through the flea market. I take photos for the blog and after the third canine item in one store I decided I could build a theme from the photos. I’ll be doing it again for sure.

I need to do more of this sort of thing when I’m knocking around in shops. We don’t go too many places most of the time but soon we’ll take some vacation days to have fun in our immediate area. Setting your phone camera on portrait will give you the results you’re looking for. I have a small mirrorless camera with a 24mm f2.8 lens that I use. I gives me practice using some of the features on my mirrorless camera.

Cool idea! I haven’t used the portrait mode much on my iPhone. I will definitely try to remember to do this next time we’re knocking around. 🙂

The pair of cocker spaniels were very tempting. I have owned 4 cockers in my life and definitely have a love affair with them.
