Doggone Good Day at Farmers Market
Recently, the local Farmers Market focused their attention on man’s best friend. One whole block was nothing but vendors who cater to domestic pets, especially dogs. There were boarding kennels, day spas, training, adoption shelters, and all kinds of collars, harnesses, treats to share with your favorite canine. There was even a photographer who specialized in photographing canine portraits. Here are a few of the attendees. I left Lucy at home since I can’t photograph dogs and attend to her at the same time.

Monday’s Music Moves Me
Just a blast from the past collection.
What a fun idea. Mom would go to that to find some new treats for us. She rarely brings us along as there are so many dogs and lots of handlers don’t keep a good eye on their dogs.

The local farmers market features a dog oriented day in the spring and again in the fall. I don’t take Lucy for the reasons you mentioned. I try to get there by 8:00 and leave before 10:00. By 11:00 it is just too crowded to be fun.

There are a number of businesses opening their doors to four-legged patrons these days, as well. Nice photo captures of man’s best friend. Fabulous oldies playing here today, too. Have a boogietastic week, my friend!

I don’t get much opportunity to photographic domestic animals but I did snap an adorable scene between two pups while on vacation last year. I don’t believe I’ve shared it. I need to do that for Awww Mondays.

Some of the boarding kennels and canine spas are better resorts than we stay at.
