Aww…some Monday’s Music Moves Me

Aww…some Monday

This photo represents my life in coffee mugs. The center mug speaks to the fact that I was born and raised in Oklahoma. The green mug tells you that church was a heavy influence in my life and Harvard Ave. Baptist Church in Tulsa holds a special place in my heart. Some of my fondest youth memories was church camp at Falls Creek, in southern Oklahoma, which was the largest youth church camp in the world at the time. I attended from 7th thru 12th grade. The OU mugs speaks to my college years and yes, that is my tassel. My degree was in architecture and the mug on the far leftds indicates that I was a member of the American Institute of Architects during my professional career. There you have it…my life in coffee mugs. Have a bless week.

  1. What a fun thing to do with the cups. A walk down your wonderful life. Brilliant.

Love all three videos. You and I like the same kinds of music.

  2. We collect mugs of places we visit occasionally, none of which are obvious to anyone other than us the significance. I like your life’s display arranged with these mugs. Very cool idea and fun photo! I absolutely love your song picks! The Turtles “Happy Together” I betcha is about you and your wifey. 🙂 Thanks for joining the 4M party this week. I hope you have a boogietastic and blessed Thanksgiving week, my friend!

my hubby like big mugs where 3 cups of coffee fit into one. I enjoyed the music and the video with Astsire and Hayworth. Im amazed how they can fit the song to their dance. Fred said, privately, that Rita Hayworth was his favourite partner.

What a way to start my day, with Fred Astaire and Rita Hayworth. Just amazing how this video was put together to synchronize with the song. I love Happy Together and the Beach Boys (actual life performance, I think!) blew me away, to use old slang. Thank you for the musical memories. Alana ramblinwitham
