Aww…some Mondays

Some Days My Joints Can Relate
Monday’s Music Moves Me
This week the theme is whatever music moves us. As I mentioned recently, I listen to the Chris Stapleton channel 63 on Sirius XM when I am in my truck. It is perhaps the most diverse playlist available.
Occasionally a song will just strike you in a funny sort of way. In music there are several basic themes that are the inspiration for lyrics. There are boy meets girl songs, break up songs, failed marriage songs, childhood memory songs, etc. Within these themes, there are anthem songs, inspirational songs, emotional songs, audience participation songs. Every bar band in country music has a BEER DRANKIN’, audience participation song. Here is a tune from this last example sung by one of country music’s icons.
Moving right along, here are a couple of more tunes that have found my ears from the Chris Stapleton channel.
That is a funny, odd, and interesting piece of rock art!

I thought the same thing. I just felt the need to snap a photograph. I have an idea for a future image.

Yep, joints get a little stiff sometimes but thankfully it’s temporary and works out easily after I get to moving around. Billy Strings is a nice introduction. I’m curious to sample more by this group. Thanks for sharing and for joining the 4M party, my friend. Have a boogietastic week!

A couple of my aches and pains seem to be a little more recurrent than others.
Billy Strings is really beginning to mature as an artist.

HA! My joints are starting to feel that way lately, too! 😅 I’ll have to check out that Sirius XM channel – I usually leave it on Hits 1, but I like to branch out! Teddy Swims “Lose Control” is one of my absolute favorites. All your choices are spot on! Thanks for the dance!

Oh yes, those aches and pains. I am so stiff upon waking (but also grateful that I am waking up). I was guessing the art installation was at Crystal Bridges, At least I’m not on display there, lol. Of the songs, I liked Billy Strings the best. Strangely, the Teddy Swims song, to me, screamed “you need to have Jelly Roll join in”. I think it was you who had a Swims/Jelly Roll duet on their blog several weeks ago? Their voices work so well together. Alana ramblinwitham
