We had knockout roses for the longest time and they were gorgeous but they kind of took over so we took them out and my wife is figuring out what to do next.
I gave up roses years ago, but the Knockouts are such performance winners that I might be rethinking that. They are just starting to bloom here in upstate New York.
I love this time of year. All the pretty flowers.

I cut them back pretty severely in the fall, but I don’s expect them to last too many more years.

Knockouts are much easier to care for that traditional roses and they bloom all summer and into fall.
