It seems so early but we are into October. The lights go on in Plymouth (UK) on Thursday November 18th which marks the first Thursday festive late night shopping and the Christmas markets.
You know me. The Christmas Music Marathon starts the day after Thanksgiving. There may or may not be a preview prior to the beginning of the adventure.
Well, I will start my Christmas Music Marathon the day after Thanksgiving. It’s a tradition that I started 12 years ago, but you don’t have to join in until Dec. 1.

You have to start early if you want them done in plenty of time, don’t you.

Yes indeed. It takes 4 -6 weeks to install all of the lights on the square and they will light it up in mid November.

It’s that time of year although they seem to go up earlier every time heheh! I always like this time of year onwards 🙂

I think they’re like me. Put them up when the weather is nice. You don’t have to turn them on until Thanksgiving.

The lights here will go on about the same time. After install there will be a week or two of testing to ensure it all works as planned.

Had no idea it would take a month to six weeks to get these lights up! It’s here 85 degr. so am not in Christmas mood yet, lol.

Right now it feels like fall in the Ozarks. It is a beautiful time of the year.

Ozarks? Both hubby and I went to college in Springfield, MO – a long time ago:) Now I wished I had explored nature more there!
