2021 Christmas Music Marathon – Day 4

Monday’s Music Moves Me

It’s my final week of hosting 4M and the theme is free choice, but I am just beginning my annual Christmas Music Marathon so sit back, listen to some music of the season that focuses on the purpose of the celebration. There will be a new post every day with one or more songs and usually a bit of information about Christmas or family. Come back often for some arrangements that may be new-to-you. Merry Christmas to all.

  1. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I stayed away from Blogosphere over our long break but I definitely will visit your previous Christmas Music Marathon entries. I really love this idea of sharing the God’s message through songs. You picked some great ones for the dance floor. The band Home Free have wonderful harmonies. At first glance it looks like the group is either in an icy cavern or there’s a huge iceberg behind them but after a closer look I think it’s man made winter wonderland. That’s really cool! Carrie Underwood’s “Let There Be Peace” and “Love Was Born” by Living Water Worship are new to me. The latter one I, especially enjoyed – very beautiful.

Thank you for filling in this month as honorary co-host on Monday’s Music Moves Me. Your themes were a lot of fun. Consider yourself always welcome to join again. We’d love to have you whenever the music moves you! 🙂 Enjoy the blessed season of love, my friend.

    1. The outdoor lights are getting harder to install each year. I don’t know how much longer I will be putting in the effort to light the house. The search for new music is the real fun and I’m glad you enjoyed what I have found so far. Have a blessed Christmas.

As I was listening, Carrie Underwood was singing a Christmas song on the CMA Country Christmas show. What a talent that woman is. She seems pretty solidly grounded.

  3. Glad you enjoy the light display.
I usually begin putting the Christmas Music Marathon a week or two before Thanksgiving, but I don’t activate it until the day after the turkey has been carved.
