Aww…some Monday
Saturday morning I drove to the local farmers market, on the town square. It’s a little early in the season to expect much in the way of veggies, but there was plenty of jelly’s, cinnamon rolls, and craft items. There is always a unique collection of people and pets.

Monday’s Music Moves Me
This is a freedom of choice week and 4M. Saturday night Garth Brooks performed at the football stadium where the Arkansas Razorbacks play. He sold out an 80,000 seat stadium! There are very few artists that have been recording for over 30 years and can still sell out a stadium, none in country music other than Garth. Garth turned 60 in February and this is his farewell stadium tour. One only has to look at the stage to realize how much work it takes to put on one of his shows. So as a tribute to one “Okie” from another, this week will feature Garth Brooks music. Enjoy.
Have a blessed week y’all!
Great shots of your trip to the farmers market. Wow. Love the flowers the best.
Great group of videos. Garth is always an excellent pick.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a blessed Awww Monday and week, my friend. 🙂

Nice candid shots. I was wondering if you ask permission of people. I try not to get people in my photography because I’m shy and timid about asking, so I enjoy people shots by others. My favorite was the mother with the two young children. Enjoyed the Garth Brooks concert. He does have some classics, like Friends in Low Places. I enjoyed the first song too. So many artists seem to be having farewell tours this year. Alana ramblinwitham

As long as the images are taken in a public venue and you have no intention of selling them for profit, no permission is required. I have entered portraits in county fairs that require a model release form to be signed, so I limit my submissions to family members. I am now shooting street photographs with a small mirrorless camera that is less obvious than my full size DSLR.

Farmers Markets are great for people watching!
After Garth retired the first time, he and his wife moved to the Tulsa area. I never saw him but I knew a lot of people who did and say that he was always very approachable and at ease with people. There is something about him that resonates with people and he has no problems selling out shows and I appreciate the lengths he goes to cut scalpers out of the mix.
