Wow those are gorgeous, and I do believe they are dogwoods.
We have lots of white budded trees here but many of them are Mexican Plums. They have white blossoms but are structured totally different than dogwoods. And of course we have a bunch of fugitive bradford pears and those are dogwoods as well by some.
Love these dogwoods. For some reason, to me they seem to resemble Korean dogwoods in how they are shaped, but whatever they are, they are lovely. Alana ramblinwitham

Yes sir, they are definitely Dogwoods. We also have Bradford pears and Cleveland pears. The Cleveland variety are pretty invasive.

Dogwoods are so pretty, we don’t have them around here that I’ve found, and I miss seeing them.

Dogwood and Redbud trees and native to this part of the country. They can generally be found under the canopy of larger shade trees in the forest.
